Who can join the pilot?
The first cohort is 30 places, aimed at UK medical students, foundation doctors and IMG or PLAB candidates. Applicants are chosen in batches, starting with those whose exams are soonest. Everyone else stays on the waitlist.
When does the pilot start?
There is no start date yet, and none will be promised until the product is ready. Applicants who tick the news box get updates by email.
I am a clinician or educator. Can I help?
Yes. We are looking for people willing to mark a station blind so agreement can be measured. Email hello@praxly.co.uk.
Is Praxly free?
The pilot is free. Nothing is charged, and the prices on the pricing page are planned, not live.
How accurate is the marking?
Praxly has not yet been checked against examiner marking, so treat marks as practice feedback and not a prediction of your result. Every awarded mark shows the transcript line behind it, so you can check it, and you can flag any mark you disagree with.
Can it replace practising with real people?
No. It is another way to practise, available at any hour. Practising with peers and clinicians is still worth doing.
What happens to my transcripts?
They are stored so you can review them, and sent to an AI provider to generate replies and marks. During the pilot they may be reviewed to check marking accuracy, without your name or email. They are deleted 12 months after your last activity. Please never enter real patient information.
Can I have my data deleted?
Yes, at any time. Email privacy@praxly.co.uk.
